Fire Monitoring at Middle Resolution (FMM)The service provides Hot Spots at Middle Resolution on routine basis during the fire campaign depending on EO data availability. In addition, a rapid mapping of burnt areas is provided. |
Burnt Scar Mapping (BSM)Each year, regional authorities spend more effort in generating catalogs of fire contours and fire impact studies using in field measurements and gps. Nowadays, several methodologies of proven results are extremely useful to map burnt scars using high resolution imagery from space at an affordable price. Users have expressed their interest in those products that help them in fire impact analysis, vegetation damage assessment, and design of recovery plans. |
Global Fire Risk Service (GFR)The service provides forecasts from 1 to 3 days of Fire Danger maps on a daily basis during the fire campaign. This service is especially useful to support prevention activities, with special emphasis during the fire campaign, allowing the user to know the identification and evaluation of the risk areas, information of high value for the management of surveillance resources and strategies. |
